Hello Trader do not provide warranties of any kind on any of its products. all of our  items are handmade by our artisans and may have slight variations of flaws and/or imperfections as the materials used can vary in colour. 

These flaws/imperfections makes every piece unique to its kind and no piece will ever be identically. 



All orders that are placed through our online store is an offer by you to state you are purchasing the particular item in accordance with our terms and conditions. 

Any order placed through our Website is an offer by you to purchase each particular item in accordance with these terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject an order you make using our Website for any reason.  Please select carefully.  While every effort has been made to ensure our products/colours are represented accurately, different colour calibrations of each system can impact your screen reproduction. If you are purchasing handmade items please note each piece is unique in nature and may vary minimally from what is stated on our website in terms of colour, timber grain, size and imperfections due to the natural and hand made nature of our goods. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order and provide a refund should our manufacturer advise us they are unable to supply a particular item. They require a skilled workforce to make our range and labour shortages can occur from time to time. 

Prices, GST and taxes 

All prices on our Website are listed in Australian Dollars and they include GST.

By placing an order, you agree to pay the stated price (plus any applicable shipping and handling charges) in Australian Dollars for all orders. 

We reserve the right to change the prices of our Goods at any time without notice to you.


Repairs, refunds and replacements 

If the Goods are damaged or not of acceptable quality, you may have rights under:

• Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Australian Consumer Law);

• Other consumer laws applying in each Australian State or Territory; and/or

• Our Refunds Policy below

We must receive written notice via email of any goods damaged within 7 days of the receiving date.


In the event of damage to your product please contact us immediately within 7 days of receiving your goods. Our warehouse team take a lot of time and care with packaging your orders ensuring the best courier service, and protective products are used to ensure a safe arrival of your orders. 

Once your order is dispatched by our warehouse the liability of damages is passed on to our couriers and carriers and will fall under the insurance policy of the courier/carrier.  In the event a damage has occurred we will work with you to help resolve the issue however it is not Hello Trader's responsibility to refund or replace items that are damaged in transit. 

Couriers and Carriers have a responsibility to take reasonable care for the safety of the goods they are transporting and to take reasonable care to deliver those goods to their destination. Therefore they will be liable for loss or damage resulting from any deliberate act or a failure to take reasonable care in transporting and delivering the goods. It is the customers liability to check the goods and accept on receipt of receiving the goods. Once you have accepted the goods the courier or carrier may decline the right to cover. 

Here is a list of goods couriers/carriers will not include in their insurance if breakages/damages occur: 

Glass, concrete. 


Australian Consumer Law

If there is a major problem with the Goods, a refund or a replacement may be available.

If there is a minor problem with your Goods (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law) we may repair the Goods instead of offering you a replacement or a refund.

Unless we are required to do so under the Australian Consumer Law, you will be responsible for the costs of returning the Goods to us.

Please notify us of any damaged Goods within 24hours of possession by email at 



Product care 

If you have damaged the Goods yourself, or you have failed to take proper care of the Goods we may not be able to provide you with a repair, refund or replacement.  We advise to read our care instructions on our product page for our recommendations prior to purchasing our products.

Change or Cancellation of Orders

As we process your orders immediately for prompt delivery, we regret that cancellation or change to your order may not be possible unless we receive your request by phone or email within 24 hours placing your original order. No cancellation or change of orders will be accepted once your order has been dispatched.

Out of Stock Items

Hello Trader immediately in the unforeseen event that you have purchased an item that is out of stock or unavailable.
We will discuss with you your options for choosing an alternative item or where possible putting an order in for the original item. If you choose to put in an order for the original item we will give you an estimated time for filling the order.
If neither of these options suit, Hello Trader will also allow you to cancel your order with a full refund given.


Hello Trader reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice at our discretion.
All prices include GST and are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices do not include delivery – delivery charges will be applied accordingly.
